And the reduction does a good job at smoothing out the background. The nebulae do look more cloudy and contrasty than some of the contenders, but not by much. But just look at the amount of settings. I tweaked these for the better part of two hours to get the best result I could squeeze out from DeNoise. It's buttery smooth, but with a lot of digital-looking artifacts.
